PFL Conducts Club Assessment of both JPV Marikina FC and Ilocos United FC for 2018 Season

Philippines Football League officials went to Marikina Sports Center last Wednesday 12 July 2017 and to President Elipdio Quirino Stadium in Bantay, Ilcoos Sur last Friday 14 July 2017 to conduct the club licensing assessment of both JPV Marikina FC and Ilocos United FC.

JPV Marikina was represented by its CEO, Kyo Nagami, during the assessment while Ilocos United FC was represented by its CEO, Tony Lazaro. Both clubs were assessed on the following criteria set by the PFF Club Licensing Regulations: Sporting, Infrastructure, Personnel and Administration, Legal, and Financial.

JPV Marikina and Ilocos United are the fourth and fifth club to be assessed by the League ahead of the 2018 season after the likes of Kaya FC Makati, FC Meralco Manila, and Stallion Laguna FC were assessed in the past few days.

PFL officials also conducted the stadium assessment of the Marikina Sports Center which is the nominated home stadium of JPV Marikina and President Elipidio Quirino Stadium, the home stadium of Ilocos United.

Philippines Football League Chief Executive Officer Lazarus Jansen Xavier said after the assessment of both clubs: “Clubs need to invest on qualified personnel in the development and management of elite footballers.
